We believe that only families have the capacity to choose who educates their children.  They don't need an algorithm to tell them where their child can or cannot attend.  Provide parents with direct support and they can figure out what will best meet their needs.

Safety is everything.  Your livelihood depends on offering safe and high quality care.  At ECEA we advocate for you to be able to do this without having a huge administrative burden due to state and federal requirements.  We provide input into those policies to ensure that your business operations can be simpler.  That means you can spend your time focusing on the children and families you care for instead of the administrative hoops that are created by the state.  

High Quality Care

We advocate for a streamlined Colorado Shines system that actually measures quality.  We know that quality is derived from two things:

1) Adult/Child interractions

2) the Learning Environment

ECEA Pro members will be engaged in meetings with the department to provide direct input into what that revised system needs to look like for your business.
