The new center rule set goes into effect on December 1, 2021. Final revisions based on input include:
*New training requirements for new trainings extended to 90 days instead of 30.
*Assistant ECT can be used as ECT for 10 calendar days a year.
*Centers with multiple locations are no longer required to have a center Director at each site with stipulations that put them in alignment with public schools.
*New time period allowed for infants to self soothe without staff intervention
*Alignment with public schools for substitute limited to 10 days instead of 12 weeks.
