Free 101 & 103 & T.E.A.C.H. Scholarships

Updated: Jan 5, 2022

This funding activity offers FREE tuition for any NON-ECT qualified person who wants to take the two classes to become qualified. Fees are not covered by the grant activity. So if you have an influx of professionals who you don't need in your classroom qualified as ECTS right now then this may be a great option for you! They anticipate funding 1,000-1,500 professionals through this activity.

If you need them qualified right now.....check out our news article on How to Qualify Your Staff. You won't regret it!

We understand that Colorado needs ECT's. We can qualify them other ways. This activity is missing the ability to offer higher education support to all existing professionals. At ECEA, we thought they wanted more professionals to take college courses.....that could have been accomplished through this activity. Many existing ECT's might have started their journey towards a BA with a little help!

Know that you want to pursue college? ECCLA is offering T.E.A.C.H. Scholarships! Start HERE.

1/5/22: ECEA has been notified that people who have not established in state residency DO NOT QUALIFY for the 101 & 103 funding stream. We are contacting OEC to express our concerns about that because we know a lot of our potential workforce has recently moved to Colorado. FYI: In state resident is defined as having lived in Colorado for a year and a day.
