An ECEA Partnership
Beat the high cost of healthcare, without cutting coverage.
ECEA brought ClaimLinx and Amaze Health to the table so you can offer your team real benefits, keep the network and coverage you already have, and cut costs by 25 percent or more. This is your membership working for your bottom line. ECEA cares about the health of the industry so these options are available regardless of membership status!
One ask when you reach out: tell them ECEA sent you. If you don't you won't be able to secure the best price.
Why we are putting this in front of you
Your membership just found you money.
Health care is one of the biggest costs you carry, and it climbs every year whether your team is healthy or not. We went looking for a partner who could change that math for private child care owners. ClaimLinx does not sell you a bigger premium. They get paid based on what they save you. That is the kind of partnership we fight to bring you, and it is one more way your ECEA membership pays for itself. We are making it available to those not in membership as well because we care about the health of the industry.
The real problem
Why your premium keeps climbing.
It rises no matter what
Most plans bundle network access, claims cost, and carrier profit into one fixed premium. That premium goes up every year, whether your group is healthy or not.
Shopping carriers does not fix it
Jumping between carriers just hands you the same bundled structure with a different number attached. The problem is built into the model.
Most brokers are not motivated to save you money
Traditional brokers earn commission on total premium. A bigger premium means a bigger paycheck for them, so there is little reason to redesign your plan.
How ClaimLinx is different
Paid on your savings, not your premium.
ClaimLinx works as both a claims processor and a consulting firm. Unlike traditional brokers, they do not rely on carrier commissions. They earn fees based on the savings they generate, so they have skin in the game to lower your costs while improving benefits.
- The same PPO network, deductibles, and copays you already have.
- Pay real claims cost instead of an inflated flat premium.
- 25 percent or more in average savings from smarter plan design.
- Ongoing management that keeps hunting for new savings all year.
How it works
A simple, powerful, three step build.
The design keeps the strong national coverage you want on top, then layers in tools underneath that add benefits back and control cost.
Primary carrier
Start with a base plan from a well known national brand. It gives your team a broad, pre negotiated provider network and stop loss coverage that caps your liability against catastrophic claims. You raise the deductible here, which is what drops the premium.
Secondary MERP
A Medical Expense Reimbursement Plan (MERP), built on Section 105 of the federal tax code, sits underneath the primary plan and adds day to day benefits back. You pay only when claims come in, it is adjustable at any time, and any funds left in the MERP at year end are yours.
Amaze Health
App based care for your whole family until kids turn 26, for 32 dollars a month with zero copays. No appointment needed, available anytime, in more than 80 languages. It gives staff strong support while keeping money in your MERP.
The savings, shown
Raise the deductible, cover the gap, keep the difference.
Here is the move in numbers. You raise the deductible from a Gold plan to a Bronze plan, then the MERP covers the gap so your team barely feels it. The premium savings are real and they are yours.
| Plan detail | Gold plan | Bronze plan | Your change |
|---|---|---|---|
| Plan type | HMO | HMO | Same |
| Deductible | $2,000 | $9,100 | +$7,100 risk assumed |
| Out of pocket max | $8,700 | $9,100 | +$400 only |
| Annual premium | $27,540 | $14,496 | $13,044 saved |
The out of pocket exposure rises just 400 dollars, while the premium drops by 13,044 dollars. The MERP is what safely covers that gap for your employees. Keep your costs savings on hand for the first year so that utilization is predictable. It'll be tempting to spend the savings but don't. You need to be able to pay the claims every two weeks.
How your team uses it
Two cards, no guesswork.
At an appointment, employees simply show two ID cards to get the most from the plan. It is a seamless transition, and their standard insurance record stays intact.
Primary carrier card
The main medical insurance card from the primary plan.
- Present it first for network verification.
- Sets primary eligibility and network discounts.
- Keeps the standard insurance record.
ClaimLinx secondary card
The employer funded plan card that covers secondary out of pocket costs.
- Present it alongside the primary card at checkout.
- Tells the provider to submit copays and deductibles.
- The employer funded plan offsets upfront costs.
Spotlight: Amaze Health
Better care for your staff, lower claims for you.
Amaze Health gives employees near immediate access to physical and mental health providers through an app, for the whole family until kids turn 26, at $32 a month per employee. The more your team uses Amaze, the more money stays in your MERP.
Care anytime, anywhere
App based support with no appointment needed, in more than 80 languages. Staff do not have to take a sick day just to see a doctor, and urgent care is rarely needed. They won't need to take time off to see the doctor. Even with major medical, your employees can set Amaze as their Primary Health Care Provider. It's simple!.
It saves your staff too
Zero copays for employees. The more they use Amaze instead of primary insurance, the fewer costs they carry, and roughly 40 percent of emergency room visits can be avoided. They can connect your staff to medical services directly so that they know what their full out of pocket will be and can make good financial health care decisions.
Flexible and pre tax
Offer it from the start or add it when MERP use rises. It can be offered pre tax through the MERP to help retain staff. ECEA will help to market to your staff so they understand why and how to use it! Cancel if it is not being used, the only catch is a 12 month wait to renew.
Here is the ECEA part: we will market Amaze to your staff to drive utilization, so the savings actually show up.
